“New uniforms, we’re relocating,” Samson said. “We’re going to embrace our current fan base and welcome a new fan base, because it’s what we need to have happen.”
Samson said the team will now be MIAMI MARLINS and the park will debut in 2012 and of course the caps will be changed.

A lot of people have been asking this. “Is it cool to not want him fucking dead after the Jets win?”
And well…. I thought about it. And no. Just… No.
This guy has dropped more balls then T.O. and the Oakland Raiders combined. Every Fins Fan knows this guy would literally get gang raped if they see him walking around in a club in Miami by a bunch of fanboys yelling at him “WHY THE FUCK DO YOU SUCK SO BAD??”

The coach was quoted saying “Please lay off Ted Ginn, this won’t help the team at all”
I love how it’s not even some other team fucking with this guy, it’s US hating him! I just cant stand this guy’s inconsistency, drives me nuts.
AND, here are the facts:
He has no clutch game, whenever we need a catch down the stretch to come back from the game or to put the game away, he (it seems) PURPOSELY drops the ball!
Now he had more yards in one game (299) then in the whole season (211) And he scored on two kickoff returns and helped us (weird, right?) beat the Jets this week 31-27.

Now, for me to stop hating this guy he’s going to have to show me this is NOT luck and that he CAN be consistent and deliver, like the 2007 first round draft pick we thought he was.

Not in 10 years have we started off with a 2-0 record, but today’s Heat win over the Pacers changed that. We also have not won in Indiana in almost decade, the “Indiana Curse” is also as of today, obsolete thanks to our win. We raped the Pacers 96-83. To make matters better, we play 7 of the next 8 games at home!

Not Dwyane Wade, but JO and Haslem were the ones that owned the night. JO (Jermaine) had 22 points and 12 rebounds , Haslem had a double double with 10 and 10. Jermaine Oneal broke a record as the first Heat player EVER to start off the first two games with 20-12 or more. Outstanding as well (but not rare) was Wades 30 point night.

Great start for the Heat! Let’s keep supporting our home team and wish them good luck in their next game (which I BELIEVE is against the Bulls) Sunday at 6 P.M.
LETS GO HEAT!

The Phillies will need to play hard tonight at Yankee Stadium if they want to beat the Yankees at home. Ryan Howard has been on fire for them and is their best hitter in this post season.
Cliff Lee will be on the mound tonight for the Phillies and with his ERA being 0.74 I think the Phillies have a good shot at beating the Yankees tonight. On the other side of the ball is CC Sabathia and wiht his ERA being 1.19 it will be a pitchers duel tonight. Both bullpens will have to have their aces working hard tonight if they want to win this series and the first game. Whoever wins the first game is probably the team that will win it all.
With A-Rod and Derek Jeter swinging their bats well in this post season. It will be quite interesting to see if any pitcher can strike out these big sluggers. Nick Swisher will be one of players who will get something going right when his team needs to. The Yankee have just added Eric Hinske and Brian Burney to the Roster so look for new faces in the Yankees Lineup tonight.
This series should be a great one,but I think whoever can win Game 1 tonight has a really good chance at winning this whole series.
I have the Phillies in seven games.
What’s your prediction?

The Miami Hurricanes look to rebound after an embrassing loss to Clemson last week. The Canes need to do a better job of Defending the pass and the run. When we played Georgia Tech a while back we played very well in stopping the run,but after CJ Spillers Run last week that probably lost us the game we need to find a way to stop giving up so many late quarter plays.
Jacory Harris is probably one of the best quarterbacks we have had since Ken Dorsey in 2001,but he still has a lot to learn on how to pass when his Wide Receivers are being double covered. Jacory needs to use his legs a lot more and run when it is needed. We cannot become overconfident when we play Wake Forest this week.I did not really think Clemson was that good last week until I saw the score at half time and it was Clemson 0 and Miami 3. So we need to prepare better for each game and coach Randy Shannon needs to do a better job of communicating with his offensive coordinator and learn when it is the right time to call a timeout.
Miami is a better team than this and we played awful last week, but we need to rebound this week and start showing the Nation we are Top 10 material.
I will have another post on Saturday before this game starts.

THE PLAYERS
If you look at any team that has ever won an NBA tittle, they had balance. That is what makes a team great. And I can prove that… the Lakers were horse shit when it was only Kobe carrying all the weight, because every one else NOT named Kobe was garbage, that’s a lot.. considering that at the time he was the best player in the NBA. Now that they have other good players, they won a championship. No tam ever gets a trophy with one good player, no matter how good he is. Jordan never won a championship by himself.
We have to pick up more weight off Wade’s shoulders. Especially Jermaine Oneal, he needs to give us AT LEAST 13 PPG and 9 RPG. Same with Haslem. Cook, Arroyo and Chalmers also have to play well… because frankly, Wade is going to be very alone in this team. Quinten Richardson needs to do more then what he did last season dropping only 10 PPG. Oh, and Beasley? STEP UP.

THE TEAM
We need to sign a center (a GOOD center) and a point guard (a GOOD point guard, not fucking Arroyo) our bench needs to step up and our turn overs MUST GO DOWN. Our biggest flaw is that when we do win, we never BLOW anyone out, unless theyre the Bobcats or the Kings. Or some other happy team. Our post game is pitiful, Haslem needs to really start dominating…. his role this year will be very different. Same with Oneal.
DWYANE WADE
Last season we saw how badly our team was impaired, by the way Wade’s stats ROCKETED and kept gong up like clockwork. When you dont have Shaq or anyone else in your team, and your name is Wade… your stats WILL shoot up. But what he needs to do is play for the team, not try to outscore the opposing teams. He must be our leader, he has to do what Nash did to the shitty 04 Suns team, make them great out of nothing. If he can do that, we will have a shot.

PREDICTION
I predict our record will end up being 44-38. Why I put them over 500. you say? Because the East only has 3 great teams; Cavs, Celtics and Magic. If the Heat were in the West coast… then my record prediction would be very different. With this record they should be good for the 6th team to make the playoffs, and in the playoffs they may make it to the 2nd round. What do you guys think? Like the Heat this season?

The 2009 NBA Season starts tonight and after a quick off-season the Lakers are back looking to repeat, but the question is can they do it? Well, given the recent addition of Ron Arrtest now there is someone who can help out Kobe in the paint and help him bring back another NBA Championship. The LA Clippers however have now a problem on there hands and that’s their number #1 NBA Draft pick Blake Griffin. Griffin is now out with a broken kneecap and he will probably be out 3-2 months or maybe even more months depending on how fast he recovers.
In the East the Celtics have added a new player to their roster and that is Rasheed Wallace. Who was formally with the Detroit Pistons and won a championship with them. The Magic have also let go and added a player. Hedo Turkoglu is at Toronto now and Vince Carter is now taking his spot on the roster.
Now who will be raising the NBA Trophy at the end? Well, as expected many people have said the Lakers, but I disagree because if you look at who the Cavs got in the off-season, O’neal. Then I think with Shaq now the Cavs now have that dominant center that they have been searching for. Now questions do still remain how Shaq will fit into the Cavs High Paced System, but I think he will become an even better player playing around James.
So as we start the 2009 NBA Season tonight what team do you have your eye on? Do the Cavs,Magic,Celtics, or Lakers have a shot at winning the NBA Championship this year? Well, we will just have to find out.

Okay, so the season is almost half way gone and I want to drop my two cents on the Fins so far.
I think that CURRENTLY our team is better then what our score makes us seem (right now we are 2-4)
That record makes us look like we suck. I believe that the only game we deserved to lose was the Falcons game, because we played poorly. But every other game we lost has not only been against great teams (Colts, Chargers, Saints) we put up a GREAT fight on EACH AND ONE of those games!

We’ve had the WORST SCHEDULE in the whole NFL!!! Not to mention we play the Patriots twice and the Steelers in the future.
Not to mention we have changed the way football is played by changing the book, introducing the Wild Cat…. which teams have attempted to do but failed, poorly.
I dont know if we CAN make it to the playoffs this season with this bullshit schedule, but next season- if the schedule is more fair, perhaps we can.

So according to the Miami Heats official website, we have just signed Point Guard Carlos Arroyo to a one year $1.1 million deal.
In just seven years this guy’s been fucking everywhere: Toronto, Denver, Utah, Detroit and most recently the Orlando Magic. (And now, obviously, the Heat)
He will wear the number 8 on the back of his jersey… which is good, that way I can get the bad taste out of my mouth from Antoine Walker wearing that number…. YUUCK!!

This guy averaged 7 points and 3 assists in his career so far. Why the fuck didnt we get Jamaal Tinsley instead of Arroyo?
John Lucas, the shittier of the point guards we have, will probably be let go. Why? Because now we have FOUR point guards in our roster. I say we trust Quinn to back up for Chalmers. Or get Tinsley. But why get Arroyo?
